The Jockey Hollow Stamp Club (JHSC) is a New Jersey philatelic organization founded in 1972 in Morristown, New Jersey, where it continues to serve collectors throughout the region. The club became a chapter of the American Philatelic Society (APS Chapter 867) in 1973 and is also affiliated with the North Jersey Federated Stamp Clubs. JHSC promotes stamp collecting, philatelic education, fellowship, and knowledge exchange among collectors of all experience levels. Activities include regular meetings, educational presentations, discussions, stamp trading, auctions, and other collecting programs. The club publishes the Jockey Hollow Journal, which provides members with philatelic information, club news, and educational articles. JHSC also has a strong community-service component, donating stamps and philatelic materials to veterans, schools, libraries, and other organizations. The club also assists individuals and families seeking guidance about inherited collections and the evaluation or disposition of philatelic material. The club meets at 6:45 pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at the Morristown County Library, located at 30 East Hanover Ave. Whippany, NJ 07981.
